Wood Print technology is based on sublimation i.e. certain texture copying from sublimation foil on to the desired metal object. The metal parts need to be powder coated first, using special powder and then they can enter the process of sublimation. Sublimation process is performed in a special oven which has trolley for vacuuming profiles on one side while on the other side there is a vacuum table for sheet metal (built from hollow frame and thermal stable silicon rubber to achieve better vacuum with the sheets). The use of trolley and vacuum table is done alternately.
The sublimation oven is of similar design as a curing oven with exactly the same thermal unit. Only the external dimensions of the oven are different because they are adapted for sheets and profiles. Maximum length of profiles is limited to 6 m and the maximum number of profiles is 12 on the vacuum trolley, while the maximum dimensions of plates that can be used are 3m x 1.5m on the vacuum table. The process of sublimation is carried out at a temperature of 210 0 C for a time period of 3 to 4 minutes. The time required for the sublimation process depends on the size and thickness of material.
